A buddy of mine set up a 2 day trip to Fort Bragg and back, avoiding big highways as much as possible. We met up in SF, went north across the Golden Gate Bridge, then followed Pacific Coast 1 north basically all the way to Fort Bragg. We got there just in time to unpack and go visit Glass Beach before the sun set behind the coastal fog. It is a beach that was a glass dump site ~100 years ago and with time the glass has been broken and smoothed with the waves turning into glass pebbles. At first we only saw regular pebbles and shells but there was one little cove that had a ton of lil glass bits. We all slept well, tired from our journey, before waking up and doing it again. This time though we took more inland roads which were amazing. We had a quick stop where my buddy took out his drone to get shots of us going through some curves and I tried to get shots with my DSLR. The second half of this part took us through a bunch of vineyards before dropping us off right by the Golden Gate Bridge.

The bike line-up

I made sure to stay away from this man made waterfall

Near the base of the waterfall was this giant “rock” full of glass shards and metal bits.

We stopped riding our toys so most of us could take out smaller toys

The road did basically this for an hour or 2.
