Rhino
We found ourselves in the empty side of Unguroguro crater, devoid of animals and other safari jeeps. Then all of the sudden our guide stops our car and told us to look towards the crater wall. In the distance there was a large dark shape, slowly getting bigger. As it neared it became obvious this was a Rhino and it was slowly meandering towards us. This is my favorite shot I was able to get before it got so close to our jeep that my long range lens became essentially useless. It got so close to our jeep that we could almost touch it! Our guide was amazed since Rhinos are normally very shy and timid. I managed to get more pictures of its posterior as it walked further into the crater but those pictures are not the pretty ones.
